Rover is a historic name in British motoring; it was founded way back in 1877 by J.K. Starley and W. Sutton in Coventry. At first, the company made only bicycles, but by the end of the century they were experimenting with motorized tricycle prototypes.
From there, Rover evolved into producing motorcycles and eventually full-fledged automobiles. Sadly, the brand’s story effectively ended when Ford acquired it in 2006 and ceased operations.
The Rover Saloon is the oldest vehicle in our rental fleet. It’s the very first Rover model ever produced—and the only one available for rent in Italy! If you want a truly exclusive wedding car, this is the one.
As you can see from the photos, it’s a classic example of early automobile design, complete with spoked wheels and all the period details.
Please note: by company policy (not for technical reasons), this car is only available for use within the city ring road.
